For over sixty years, fans have mourned the life and passing of the late Marilyn Monroe. Unfortunately, the iconic superstar never got to tell her story because her life was cut so tragically short. With over twenty years of research, House of Chuck Magazine has used exclusive interviews, thousands of pictures, and course, Monroe’s most iconic looks. Our objective is to tell Monroe’s story thru Fashion.
We know now that Monroe never met her Father, and her mother spent most of Monroe’s life in an institution. Marilyn Monroe was born Norma Jean Baker in Las Angeles, California; after being taken from her Mother, she grew up in 12 orphanages. Finding out this information laid the foundation for the entire story we will tell. It starts with her growing up without a foundation and how important it was to her to have a family and build a foundation.
By the time her life was cut tragically short, Monroe had blazed a trail for so many women, and the best part is Monroe was inspired by her predecessors, such as Jean Harlow, Mae West, and Betty Boop. We have cast other iconic actors and actresses and will represent Hollywood’s Golden Era. We will tell a story that takes us to Monroe’s final photo shoot just two weeks before her passing.
